1. Data controller

2. Data we process and purpose

TopApps is an informational content site. We do not require registration and we do not ask for personal data in order to browse. We may process:

• Browsing and analytics data: anonymous or pseudonymised technical information (pages visited, device type, approximate country) in order to analyse how the site is used and improve our content.
• Data you provide voluntarily: if you write to us by email, we will process your address and the content of your message for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing browsing data is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving the site, as well as your consent where non-essential cookies are used. The basis for answering your enquiries is your own consent when you contact us.

4. Retention and recipients

We keep data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires. Specifically: your cookie consent record is kept for 24 months; analytics data for a maximum of 14 months; and any emails you send us for up to one year after our last exchange, unless a legal obligation requires longer.

We do not share your data with third parties except where the law requires it. The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., based in the European Union, acting as a data processor. Should we add other providers in future, such as analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy before switching them on.

5. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to lluismayans83@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es), or with the supervisory authority of your own country, if you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations.

6. Cookie policy

The first time you visit, you will see a notice where you can accept or reject the cookies that are not essential. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and if you close the notice without choosing, none are activated. These are all the cookies we use:

Until you accept, the Google Analytics script is not loaded: no request is made to its servers. You can change your mind whenever you like from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, and in any case we will ask you again at most every 24 months. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings.

• Technical (always active). They store your language and your decision about this notice. They are necessary for the site to work and, under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI (Law 34/2002), they are exempt from consent.
• Analytics (only if you accept them). Google Analytics, with the IP address anonymised. They tell us which pages are visited, from what type of device and from which approximate country. They are not used for advertising or to build personal profiles. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which acts as a processor and may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
