1. Data controller

2. Data we process and purpose

TopApps is an informational content site. We do not require registration and we do not ask for personal data in order to browse. We may process:

• Browsing and analytics data: anonymous or pseudonymised technical information (pages visited, device type, approximate country) in order to analyse how the site is used and improve our content.
• Data you provide voluntarily: if you write to us by email, we will process your address and the content of your message for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing browsing data is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving the site, as well as your consent where non-essential cookies are used. The basis for answering your enquiries is your own consent when you contact us.

4. Retention and recipients

We keep data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Specifically: your cookie choice is stored by Google's consent management platform for the period it sets; analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months; and emails you send us are kept for up to one year after our last exchange, unless a legal obligation requires longer.

We do not share your data with third parties except where the law requires it. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., based in the United States, which acts as a data processor under the safeguards of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Google Ireland Limited processes data as our analytics and advertising provider, as explained in sections 6 and 7.

5. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to lluismayans83@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es), or with the supervisory authority of your own country, if you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations.

6. Advertising

TopApps is free to use and is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited. No advertiser pays to appear in our guides or influences the order of our recommendations, and ads are shown in spaces kept separate from the editorial content.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites on the Internet.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising cookies are only used if you give your consent in the cookie notice. If you do not, Google may show non-personalised ads, which are based on the content of the page rather than your browsing history.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. 7. Cookie policy

If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent notice managed by Google, a platform certified under IAB Europe's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). You can accept, reject or choose by purpose, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. From other countries, analytics and advertising cookies are active by default and you can turn them off in your browser settings or in Google's Ads Settings. These are all the cookies we use:

The Google tag loads on every page in consent mode: in regions where consent is required, until you accept it stores no analytics or advertising cookies, and Google only receives cookieless technical signals that cannot identify you. You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

• Technical (always active). They store your language and your decision about this notice. They are necessary for the site to work and, under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI (Law 34/2002), they are exempt from consent.
• Analytics (in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, only if you accept them). Google Analytics, with the IP address anonymised. They tell us which pages are visited, from what type of device and from which approximate country. They are not used for advertising or to build personal profiles. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which acts as a processor and may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Advertising (in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, only if you accept them). Google AdSense and its advertising partners. They allow personalised ads based on your visits to this and other sites, limit how often you see the same ad and measure ad performance. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
